High Holy Days Food Drive

Synagogues and community organizations in Alameda County unite in their efforts to gather food for people in need each year with the High Holy Days Food Drive. The food drive runs from Rosh Hashanah, beginning the evening of Wednesday, September 12, through Yom Kippur on Saturday, September 22.

Honorary food drive chair Dan McClosky and the Alameda County Community Food Bank encourage those in the Jewish community and people of all faiths to help meet this year's goal of raising 30,000 pounds of nutritious, non-perishable food.

For more information about contributing money or food for the High Holy Days Drive, please contact one of the participating organizations listed below or the Food Bank at (510) 635-3663, ext. 318.
