Hunger Education

Resources for Teachers and Educators

The Food Bank is committed to educating the public about hunger, its root causes and how to alleviate it. In addition to providing hunger education presentations, we provide resources for teachers and educators including:

  • Ideas for service learning
  • Activities for the classroom

Hunger Education Presentations

The Food Bank offers hunger education presentations for groups of all ages. These presentations include the root causes of hunger, how to help those in need, and what issues contribute to poverty and hunger specifically in Alameda County and the Bay Area.
