29 January 2007 -- (Oakland, CA) The Alameda County Community Food Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Willie Natt, Regional Sales Development Manager for Wells Fargo as its newest member of the Board of Directors. In addition, former Charles Schwab executive Beth Sawi begins her two-year term as Board President.

"I feel strongly that no one should go hungry in a country as rich as ours," said Sawi. "It is the Food Bank's mission to nourish those in need. We recently purchased a permanent facility and I am delighted to have Willie's expertise as we begin the public phase of our capital campaign."

Mr. Natt has worked at Wells Fargo in various executive capacities from Branch Manager, District Manager, Division Manager and currently as the Regional Sales Manager for the Greater Bay Region over his 29 years with the company. He obtained an MBA from Golden Gate University in Finance and a BS in Finance from California State University, Hayward. "This is an opportunity to give back to my community," stated Natt. "The Food Bank is such a key service provider to low-income residents of Alameda County -- I look forward to serving on its Board."

Ms. Sawi was elected to the Food Bank's Board in July of 2003 and served as Vice President from 2005-2006. She worked for Charles Schwab & Co. as Chief Administrative Officer and Executive VP of Marketing, among other positions, for 20 years. She is also the author of Coming Up for Air: How to Live a Balanced Life in a Workaholic World. Ms. Sawi has an MBA from Stanford and lives in Berkeley.
