"Party Planning for the Holidays" to Benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank
—Oakland Entrepreneurs Barbara Llewellyn & Ron Morgan Showcase Talents—

10 October 2007 -- (Oakland, CA) Get ready for holiday entertaining as Oakland entrepreneurs Barbara Llewellyn and Ron Morgan join efforts and showcase their skills at "Party Planning for the Holidays" on Tuesday, October 23 from 10 am – 12 pm at the Alameda County Community Food Bank (7900 Edgewater Drive, Oakland.) Llewellyn will be doing a holiday-themed cooking demonstration while providing tips for making entertaining easier. Noted floral designer and author Ron Morgan will show audiences how to make edible centerpieces using an array of vegetables and fruits.

"Most of the adults served by the Alameda County Community Food Bank are among the working poor," explained Barbara Llewellyn, president/founder of Barbara Llewellyn Catering and Event Planning. "With this event, we hope to increase awareness about the Food Bank's hunger relief and advocacy efforts."

Tickets are $20 (plus a canned food donation) and are available online at www.accfb.org, or by calling 510-635-3663 ext. 328. Participants will be served a continental breakfast and will be invited to take a personal, guided tour of the Food Bank's facilities.
