Noé Gutiérrez (pronouns he/his) is a lifelong HR practitioner with over 20 years’ experience specializing in non-profit community-based HR management. His areas of expertise are employee relations, management coaching, workforce development, engagement and retention strategies, and more recently has had a focus in diversity and inclusion work. He is a first-generation son of immigrant parents, born in Puerto Rico where a majority of his family still resides, and is a native Spanish speaker. During his off time he is an avid fitness enthusiast and tries to incorporate the mind-body connection to maintaining a work-life balance. He is also a fan of live music and enjoys traveling to attend destination concerts (pre-COVID). His past volunteer work has focused on supporting immigrant rights, and empowering LGBTQ youth and their families. Noé has his BS in Psychology from San Francisco State University and is dually certified as SHRM-SCP and SPHR from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
