Shaunté is a long-time Oakland resident, for over 15 years, and has been involved with several local nonprofits on issues of economic and racial disparity, education, and housing. The COVID-19 pandemic made us all pause, and for Shaunté, that included committing to making a deeper impact on food insecurity. She is inspired by the strategic approach of ACCFB in not only distributing meals, but also working in partnership with others to address the interconnected policy, education, and social forces in our community.
Shaunté currently works as the Chief Commercial Officer at Clif Bar & Company, a leading global active nutrition company headquartered in Emeryville. She also acts as a board member and advisor to a publicly traded produce company. She has spent her professional career driving growth through strategy, marketing, and sales for medium to large global organizations. Shaunté leads with values and purpose and shares that connection across all her teams. She has also been a founding member of Black employee resource groups across multiple companies, in effort to create more diverse and inclusive cultures, where all feel enabled to do their best work. Shaunté holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University. Term expires 12/31/24.
