Diana Markley joined Alameda County Community Food Bank in 2019. She has over 20 years of experience working in the Bay Area’s nonprofit sector. Her career has been focused on working with low-income communities to improve their health and well-being. Prior to joining ACCFB, she worked at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and United Way of the Bay Area. Diana oversees ACCFB’s strong network of community partners, including member agencies and direct distributions, which is vital to our efforts to ensure that no one in Alameda County goes hungry. She also oversees our growing Food Recovery Program that works with hundreds of local donors to ensure that healthy food does not go to waste. Lastly, she oversees our Nutrition and Wellness team that provides nutrition education to both agencies and clients. She has a B.S. in Social Work and is a proud member of the Board of Directors for Beyond Emancipation. When she has the time, Diana loves to hike and spend time with her four children, family and friends.
