Calling All Early Birds!

We’re looking for volunteers for these early start opportunities:

  • Vehicle Loader on weekday mornings 7:30 – 11 a.m. – Help our partner organizations pick up food for distributions in their respective neighborhoods.
  • ACCFB Drive-Through food distribution at 69th Ave. on M/W/F mornings 8 – 11:30 a.m. – Help with food sorting and vehicle loading at our distribution site in East Oakland.

Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccine boosters are strongly encouraged, and we ask volunteers to wear properly fitting masks or face coverings to all shifts. Review our complete health & safety policies here.

Warehouse Volunteers

Volunteer shifts in our Oakland warehouse are essential to our daily impact. You’ll sort fresh produce, prepare emergency food boxes, and help our agency partners shop and load their cars with food.

Drive-Through Distribution

To safely distribute groceries, we’re operating a contactless drive-through distribution in Oakland three days a week. You’ll help build emergency food boxes, pack fresh produce, and load cars with groceries.
