Our Annual Report, what we’re reading for Women’s History Month & more!
Black History Month: See What We're Reading

Hunger doesn’t operate in a vacuum so we can’t address it in isolation. This is why, every year, our Policy & Partnerships team creates a policy agenda which aggressively addresses hunger directly and at its root causes.

This year’s agenda — our boldest yet — is being shaped by food bank partners who shared the issues having the biggest impact on hunger in their community. Learn more about what ACCFB’s Community Organizers are hearing and how working together on issues like housing or democracy mean people won’t have to choose between a visit to the doctor, rent, or groceries.

Black History Month: See What We're Reading

As you might know by now, the ACCFB team LOVES books. That's why we’re excited to share a list of impactful books by women and other voices on feminist history, community, and culture that have inspired Food Bank staff to be where they are today.

From essays to memoirs to novels to poetry and more, we've got some perfect choices to add to your feminist reading list.

ACCFB stands with OUSD students, families, and school workers in opposing these planned closures which continue a legacy of systemic divestment in Black & Brown futures and will disproportionately harm communities of color which are experiencing some of the highest rates of food insecurity in our county.
