Bernard BoudreauxBe Beneficent Consulting

I truly love the work of the ACCFB. I have been a volunteer, advocate, evangelist and supporter of ACCFB for over 20 years. I’m currently part of the “ACCFB Tuesday Crew” and I volunteer one Tuesday a month sorting and packing food in the warehouse. While I am actively involved with many “social” issues, food insecurity is my biggest passion, therefore I have worked with the leadership of nearly 100 food banks (primarily Feeding America) across the USA – helping them support their communities. As a resident of Oakland for over 25 years, I’m extremely passionate about my “back yard” and making a difference here in MY community. I’ve worked with many nonprofit organizations here in Alameda County.

I’m a huge jazz fan and I serve on the board of Trustees for SF Jazz, and I’m an Advisor for the East Bay Community Foundation. I retired from full-time work in early 2022 (I spent the last 40 years working for Target Corporation and Georgetown University) and I am an independent consultant working with various nonprofits and corporations via my consulting practice Be Beneficent Consulting. Term Expires: 6/31/2025
