Keyona S. LazenbyDirector of Programs
For over 15 years, Keyona S. Lazenby has served in non-profit leadership with organizations that offered programs to marginalized populations including the formerly incarcerated, homeless, sexual assault survivors, and foster youth. Born and raised in Oakland, Keyona is passionate about working with populations impacted by systemic challenges.
Keyona received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from California Institute for Integral Studies; she holds a Master of Arts in Social Transformation and Certificate of Women’s Studies in Religion from Pacific School of Religion/Graduate Theological Union. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Practical Theology and Social Justice at Graduate Theological Union/ UC Berkeley. Keyona is an ordained Interfaith Minister and graduate of One Spirit Interfaith Seminary.
As an avid traveler, Keyona believes that cultural exploration is the world’s greatest teacher, she had visited five continents thus far. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, relaxing on a beach, reading a mystery novel, taking a dance class, or watching an NBA game.
