Nath Mahalingam has joined the Food Bank in 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer and oversees the Food Bank’s Finance & Accounting and IT Teams. Nath’s commitment to the Food Bank’s mission is rooted in the belief that no person should have to worry about their next meal (which is more accentuated in the affluent Bay Area). Nath is an experienced Finance leader who combines a strategic perspective, operational knowledge and finance acumen to enhance fiscal stewardship and to ensure organizational sustainability and success. Nath brings over 25 years’ finance experience from both the private and non-profit sectors and has spent the last 10 years in public education supporting finance and operations for school networks focused on closing the achievement gap for low-income and first-to-attend-college families. Nath and his wife live in Foster City and enjoy travelling, music and food.
