Large-Scale Food Donations
The Food Bank works with local food manufacturers, brokers and distributors, growers and packers, schools and institutions, food transportation and cold storage companies to pick-up and receive large scale donations of one pallet or more. Last year, local food industry donors provided over 5 million meals to help feed our community. We also welcome certain high-need, non-food donations.
Our AIB certified warehouse features:
• 118,000 sq. ft of storage space
• 5,500 sq. ft of cooler and freezer space
• 3 loading docks
Receiving hours are from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
We have an on-site repack room for repackaging and labeling many bulk products, and are also able to relabel mislabeled or unlabeled products.
Our fleet consists of:
• 6 refrigerated box trucks with lift-gates
• A refrigerated 48′ tractor trailer
Our experienced drivers have electric pallet jacks and arrive for donation pick-ups with donation paperwork (including our tax ID) for your reference. We can arrange for pallet exchanges upon request.
The Food Bank is proud of its nutritional policy and upholds the highest safety standards for the food we receive and distribute. We can accept donations that are fresh, refrigerated, dry or frozen.
