Rigel Stuhmiller 2018 Farmer’s Market Calendar. See below for more information.

The holidays are one of the busiest times of year for the Food Bank, as demand spikes and we need all the support we can get.

Luckily, dozens of local businesses make it super simple to donate while you’re out and about. Whether you’re out picking up dinner or getting a head start on holiday shopping, it couldn’t be easier to support the Food Bank and ensure everyone in our community has enough healthy food—this holiday season and beyond.

While you’re out grocery shopping…

Whole Foods Market: Nourish a family while shopping at your local Whole Foods Market by donating at the register or dropping healthy food into the bins.

Safeway: Through the end of the year, purchase a pre-filled, nutritious bag of food for just $10. Just rip off a ticket at the store entrance and hand it to your cashier.

Lucky and FoodMaxx: Fund a meal by simply picking up a meal coupon and handing it over at the register.

Berkeley Bowl: Drop a healthy non-perishable item in one of our food drive barrels on your way out.

While you’re getting a head start on holiday shopping…

The Gardner: On Saturday, December 9th, The Gardner will donate 5 percent of all sales to Bay Area Food Banks.

Crate and Barrel: Crate and Barrel will invite customers to donate at the register and online. 100% of funds raised in-store will benefit the food bank.

A necklace from Sora Design’s collection that benefits ACCFB.

Sora Designs: Sora Designs has created a beautiful line of #ENDHUNGER x Foodie Jewelry and 100% of the profits from this collection benefit ACCFB.

Rigel StuhmillerAcclaimed printmaker and illustrator, Rigel Stuhmiller will donate $1 per sale of her 2018 Farmer’s Market Calendar to ACCFB.

AmazonSmile: Doing some holiday shopping? When you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to ACCFB. You just need to select us before you begin shopping.

While you’re grabbing some food & drink (or dessert)…

Choose a delicious sandwich off Erik’s Good Character Menu, and Erik’s will donate a meal to local Food Banks, including ours.

Cleophus Quealy Beer Co: On Saturday, December 9th, noon-9:00pm ACCFB will be the beneficiary of their third anniversary party. Join us at their San Leandro brewery where we’ll be collecting non-perishable food and funds.

Erik’s DeliCafé: When you opt for several special menu items, Erik’s will donate a meal as well. (All locations are participating, but Alameda County locations benefit us.)

The Cheesecake Factory: $.25 of each slice of Peppermint Bark Cheesecake will be shared between ACCFB & Feeding America.

While you’re kicking back with some football…

Taste of the NFL’s Kick Hunger Challenge: Throughout the NFL season, be an MVP in the fight to end hunger through the Kick Hunger Challenge. All donations made through the Oakland Raiders fundraising page will come directly to us.

Are we missing a local business that’s fundraising for us? Let us know so we can be sure to say thanks, and include them in this list. Email media@accfb.org.
