As Senior Vice President of Operations for Albertsons Companies Northern California division, responsible for 288 stores in California, Hawaii, and Northern Nevada, Kevin Lovell is responsible for operating stores under the Safeway, Vons, Andronico’s and Pak n Save banners. He began his career in 1985 as a courtesy clerk, holding various leadership rolls including store director, director retail support, district manager. He has held multiple roles within Northern California. In 2017 Kevin relocated to the Seattle division as Area Vice President operations but eventually returned to the Northern California division. Following his return, Kevin was promoted to Senior Vice President of Retail Operations.

Kevin is a 2005 graduate of the USC Food Industry Management Program (FIM), hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Phoenix, and participated in the USC Food Industry Executive Program (FIEP) in 2022. He currently serves as an executive board member on the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC) supporting their mission of education and leadership in the food industry. Term Expires: 12/31/2026.
