Vishal joined ACCFB in 2024 as Director of Leadership Gifts. He brings nearly two decades of experience in philanthropic fundraising and collaboration, non-profit due-diligence and capacity building across sectors, and economics consulting. Most recently, Vishal led the Rebuild India Fund at Dasra – a $50M unrestricted, trust-based philanthropic fund to build grassroots resilience for underserved communities.

Vishal’s journey in social impact began in college. He came to the US from India, for the first time, on a squash scholarship, to study at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. His experiences there opened his eyes to different ways of thinking about the world and human progress.

Vishal lives in Oakland with his wife and daughter. He enjoys spending family time cooking/eating/planning around FOOD, and exploring parks and trails.
