Best team effort, ever.
In mid-September, the Oakland Raiders helped serve 157 households at our Cesar Chavez Mobile Pantry distribution, located near the Fruitvale BART station in Oakland. Players, alongside volunteers, helped distribute carrots, apples, pears, bread, nectarines and more.
“There’s more to life than just football,” said linebacker Bruce Irvin in a Raiders’ video about their experience. “We had a tough, grueling game yesterday, but we made the commitment to get up the next day and give back.”
