The start of a new year is a great time to refresh and reflect, to set goals for the months to come.

Looking back on 2020, we were able to accomplish so much because of our community’s support. We have plenty of work ahead of us in 2021. Try one of these simple resolutions – you’ll feel good knowing the impact you’ve made in our community.

1. Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to our work. Every day, they help us distribute enough food to serve 70,000 people. It’s a simple way for you to put in a few hours and know you’ve made a difference. Sign up for a shift.

2. Learn With Us

Inclusivity has become a practice at our Food Bank. We say practice because we’re always learning. That starts with understanding our community. Whether it’s reading through our book list, signing up for advocacy alerts, or joining our list for email updates – we invite you to learn as we learn.

3. Make a Monthly Impact

Monthly donations ensure our efforts remain steady year-round. That’s because every $1 donated helps purchase two healthy meals. Knowing we can count on your regular contributions keeps us efficient and impactful.

Not ready to become a monthly donor? Make a one-time donation.

4. Start a VFD

Virtual Food Drives (VFDs) are a COVID-friendly way you can help the Food Bank. Take your generosity online and “shop” for our most-needed items: fruits and veggies, peanut butter and oats, canned tuna, and dried beans. It’s all online so you don’t need to go to the grocery store or bring cans to a food barrel. Grab your virtual shopping cart today.

5. Share Your Story

Why is ending hunger important to you? Share why you stand for our mission that food is a basic right on social media – and tag us. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
